All England Badminton 2012 Semi-Finals: Hope for Denmark Despite the Fall of the Big Stars

The Danish badminton team found renewed hope at the semi-finals of the Yonex All England Badminton 2012 today.

Their top guns such as Peter Gade, Viktor Axelsen, Tine Baun and Joachim Fischer/Christinna Pedersen were all eliminated in earlier rounds.

Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Rytter Juhl provided Denmark a glimpse of hope by delivering an outstanding performance to defeat Xu Chen and Ma Jin in 2 straight games (21-16, 21-18).

It has been 7 years since Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Rytter Juhl competed in the All England final.

They will be playing at the All England finals again after 7 years!
